Nice to meet you, I’m Dailuaine (aka Dai) :-)

I'm a product designer who crafts experiences around how people think and what they need.

Throughout my childhood, I found joy in serving my local community, always drawn to understanding what people needed and how to help. Discovering product design felt like finding the missing piece. It gave me a way to channel that same care into something tangible: working on products, sitting with real users, and uncovering small but meaningful ways to improve their everyday lives.

I continue to bring that same curiosity and empathy into my work, always looking for the next opportunity to make someone's experience better.

My values as a designer

Craft accessible experiences for all

Accessibility should never be an afterthought, and experiences are never one-size-fits-all. I design for users of all abilities, keeping color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support in mind from the very beginning.

Be a student and a teacher

"Stay curious" is my motto in life. I'm always keen to learn something new, whether that's picking up a new tool or evolving the way I work, inspired by senior designers around me. On the flip side, I love passing knowledge down by mentoring interns and junior colleagues.

View ambiguity as a puzzle

When starting projects, the solution to the problem at hand is rarely clear at the start. I like to take the approach of designing my way through the ambiguity, finding the pieces as I go to see the full picture, than wait for the full picture to be clear before I begin.
